Have you checked your local winery for its harvest activities?
October is definitely a month in which wineries are crushing! Most wineries offer several tourist activities that consumers can enjoy during these busy months. Some events include wine and food pairings, tours of the production during crush, festivals where you (the consumer) get to make your own wine, and much, much more. If you're lucky, you may even get a chance to sign up as a volunteer picker. Those are fun days and an experience worth trying if you never had a chance to before. Check your local wineries for more information!
